Avow was recognized with a 2015 Bronze Telly Award for its Promise 2 Givecampaign video. The award-winning video was produced by the Avow communications department with filming and post-production services provided by local marketing firm Priority Marketing. Avow was among nearly 12,000 entries from 50 states and five countries that entered the 36th Annual Telly Awards program.
Avow Chairman of the Board Charles “Chuck” Hoffman said, “Avow genuinely cares about this community. The Promise 2 Give campaign video authentically conveys the heart of Avow, the impact we’re making in our community and our vision for the future. We are pleased and proud to be honored.”
Through interviews with staff and volunteers, the Promise 2 Givecampaign video provides an overview of the $15 million fundraising effort dedicated to grow Avow’s palliative care services for children and adults, sustain its hospice care services and construct a new building on the Whippoorwill Lane campus to house southwest Florida’s first palliative care clinic, plus bereavement counseling rooms and office space. Over $9 million has been raised to date.
