Female Vocalists Needed to Join Avow Serenity Singers
Volunteers are currently being sought to join “Serenity,” a women’s a cappella choral group whose mission is to bring comfort through song to hospice patients. Serenity singers sing at the patient’s bedside, in groups of three or four. Participants are not required to read music, but must be able to carry a tune and coordinate with other singers for a blended vocal sound. Serenity volunteers meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 9:30 a.m. -11:00 a.m. at the Avow campus on Whippoorwill Lane in Naples.
Women interested in learning more about the program are invited to attend an informational session on Thursday, July 14 at 9:30 a.m. at Ispiri on the Avow campus in Naples.
RSVP is requested; call Karla Mramor at 239-261-4404.
Volunteers who join Serenity will be required to complete Avow’s general volunteer application and training process. More information about becoming a volunteer at Avow can be found at avowcares.org/volunteer.
