Yoga for Self-Care

This is an online group for anyone those who have experienced a loss of any kind or stressors during COVID-19 such as job loss or loss of normalcy.  We encourage you to be a little selfish right now and indulge in some self-care in the form of yoga.  No yoga experience?  No problem! You don’t have to be a yogi, we will be doing all yoga poses in a chair.  We’re going to use yoga to strengthen our awareness of how our physical experience is connected to our emotional and mental experiences in our lives.

When:  Thursdays

August 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

September 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Where: This is an online group done through Zoom video conferencing during the COVID-19 pandemic to accommodate quarantining.

You MUST RSVP to bereavement@avowcares.org  in order to join the group.  You will receive Zoom instructions once you have RSVP’d.
