The Avow LGBTQ+ Bereavement Support Group addresses the unique challenges of navigating losses specific to the LGBTQ+ community.
Topics addressed during the sessions will include:Creating meaning and value after the loss of a partner.

Widowhood in the absence of familial, professional, and social support for the LGBTQ+ community, resulting in complicated grief.

The unique psychosocial challenges of grief and loss when not socially endorsed by mainstream society.

The personal journey of the grief and loss healing process.
The group is open to the public, and there is no cost to join.
