“Families in Transition” is a support group for parents and their children who are experiencing loss due to divorce, separation, deployment or other life-changing events. Join with other families who are experiencing similar situations in order to share, listen and learn from one another. Attendees will come together as a big group and then divide into smaller groups to provide support in age-appropriate ways. Children will learn through engaging in art and play activities, while parents will meet with other adults to discuss their concerns and learn how to better help themselves and their children during difficult transitions.
If you have questions or would like to RSVP, please call (239) 261-4404 or email avowkids@avowcares.org.
Attendees are encouraged to wear masks to all in-person events (available at Avow).
