Avow Kids Acting It Out Drama Camp for Teens
July 15, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
This theatre camp utilizes drama, music, and art to allow children to feel and process their emotions through self expression. The children will begin the day by sharing their stories and checking in with each other as a group in a safe, caring space. Next, a dramatic warm-up will include mime and improvisation activities to loosen them up and help make them comfortable in front of one
another. Then we will begin work on our performance piece(s) for the week. Parents are invited to the final presentation.

About Our Summer Camps 2022
Avow Kids offers free summer camps to help children who are experiencing a loss and are having a hard time handling big emotions. This includes the death of a family member or friend, divorce, instability in the foster care system, deportation, deployment, incarceration, or any major event that causes feelings of loss or grief.
