• Butterfly exhibit: 9 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.
• Remembrance ceremony: 11 a.m.
• Butterfly release at the close of the ceremony
Avow’s Annual Butterfly Release is a meaningful, signature event that invites the community to honor and remember loved ones and show support to families and individuals who are grieving. The event features a butterfly exhibit showcasing more than 1,000 butterflies, music, and activities for children. The remembrance ceremony is held at 11:00 a.m. with inspirational readings, songs, and a public reading of the names of those being remembered. The butterflies are released at the close of the ceremony.
If you would like your names to be read in alphabetical order, please register by Sunday, March 23, 2025. All names registered after March 23 will be added to the end of the list. Registration closes Friday, March 28 at noon.
