Avow Acquires AmeriCare Home Health Services
Acquisition marks a key step in expanding continuum of care to Southwest Florida residents
Naples, FL (January 28, 2025) —Avow is pleased to announce the acquisition of AmeriCare Home Health Services, a Medicare-certified home health agency. This acquisition marks an important step in Avow’s strategic goal of expanding its continuum of care and ensuring that residents of Southwest Florida have access to the full spectrum of home and facility-based healthcare services.
AmeriCare’s long-standing commitment to quality care, coupled with its dedication to supporting patients in the comfort of their own homes, aligns with Avow’s mission to create peace of mind by providing compassionate care and support to those who need it. AmeriCare provides Medicare-certified home health services including physical, occupational and speech therapies as well as skilled nursing care.
“Avow and AmeriCare share a common passion for patient care, a focus on quality, and a dedication to our staff,” said Jaysen Roa, President and CEO of Avow. “AmeriCare’s 20-year history of caring for patients in Collier and Lee counties, along with their exemplary reputation, makes them a natural extension of Avow. Their values and commitment to excellence are a welcome addition to our organization.”
Louise Stewart, MSN, RN, co-founder of AmeriCare Home Health Services, also shared her excitement about the acquisition: “We’ve built AmeriCare with a deep commitment to our patients and their families, providing care that allows them to live comfortably in their own homes. By partnering with Avow, a trusted leader in the region, a high level of care and a comprehensive range of services will be extended to even more people.” Suzanne Kappert, RN, co-founder of AmeriCare Home Health Services, expressed her enthusiasm as well: “This affiliation allows us to continue our mission of delivering outstanding home health care, but with the added benefit of Avow’s expanded resources and expertise.”
AmeriCare Home Health Services will maintain its brand and has retained its staff during this acquisition. For more information, visit americareswfl.org.
