When four-time cancer survivor Janice Feenstra was diagnosed with an incurable, but treatable cancer, she was hopeful and ready to endure chemotherapy and radiation to keep the cancer under control. While sitting vigil at his father's bedside at Avow's Frances Georgeson Hospice House, Chris Farrugia observed nurses speaking warmly and compassionately to his father as they adjusted pillows and offered a gentle touch to his forehead.
